ASUS has launched two new Chromebooks: the CX14 and CX15. These laptops offer a fresh take on budget-friendly computing with a focus on style and sustainability.
The CX14 and CX15 have a sleek design with pastel colors like Quiet Blue, Misty Green, and Cream Pink. The laptop’s surface is inspired by traditional Japanese Washi paper and features a unique crystal-like pattern. The finish is more durable than standard coatings.
Eco-friendly design
ASUS has made a conscious effort to reduce its environmental impact. The laptops are made from 30% recycled plastic, and the packaging is eco-friendly.
Powerful performance
The Chromebooks come in two versions: standard and Plus. The standard version is powered by an Intel Celeron N4500 processor, while the Plus version features an Intel Core 3 N355 processor. The laptops have up to 16GB of LPDDR4X/LPDDR5 RAM and up to 256GB of eMMC storage.
The CX14 has a 14-inch Full HD display, while the CX15 has a 15.6-inch Full HD display. Both laptops have a maximum brightness of 300 nits. They also feature a range of ports, including USB-C, USB-A, HDMI 1.4b, and a 3.5mm headphone jack.
AI-powered productivity
The Chromebook Plus models come with Google’s AI-powered tools, including Gemini, which can assist with writing and editing tasks. These laptops also include a one-year subscription to Google One AI Premium, which provides up to 2TB of storage and access to Gemini Advanced.
The laptops are built to last, with a MIL-STD-810H certification and a Titan C chip for enhanced security.
