Asus has just released three new Chromebook laptops that address the strength and portability needs of all students.
In this sense, they have a robust design that, according to the brand, has a durability with military certification.
The new Asus Chromebooks are available in versions with 4GB and 8GB of RAM
The three new Chromebook models – CX1101, CR1100 and CR1100 Flip – are equipped with an 11.6-inch screen with a resolution of 1366×768 pixels, but right here they begin to differentiate themselves.
The CX1101 and CR1100 models feature anti-glare technology, while the Flip model features a touchscreen with support for a digital pen, plus a 360-degree hinge, to live up to the Flip name.
On the other hand, the Chromebook CX1101 houses a dual-core Celeron N4020 processor or a quad-core Celeron N4120, while both CR1100 models integrate a dual-core Celeron N4500 processor or a quad-core Pentium Silver N6000.
In terms of RAM, all three models offer versions with the same 4GB and 8GB that cannot be upgraded, as well as having the same 64GB internal storage.
In the field of photography, the CR1100 Flip once again distances itself from an eight megapixel camera and a 720p webcam, while the other two models are only equipped with a webcam.
In connectivity, the three new laptops have USB Type-C and Type-A ports, but the CR1100 series (portable model and Flip model) includes Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.2 and support for 4G LTE, in optional mode. The CX1101 is equipped with Wi-Fi 5 and Bluetooth 5.1.
The launch was so low-key that Asus did not disclose prices or the markets in which these new models will be available.
