Through a press release, ASUS confirms that it will adopt the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 mobile platform in its next gaming smartphone. In fact, the ROG Phone 6 will hit the market with the most powerful processor currently available.
Qualcomm’s new processor will no doubt be a common sight on Android flagships hitting the market in the coming months. Many brands were only waiting for this component to be introduced to complete the development of their products.
Compared to the ROG Phone 5, the improvements of the upcoming ASUS smartphone will be significant. The brand ensures that with the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 it will be possible to achieve 15% more performance and significant improvements in the energy consumption of your next device.
