Astro, former vocalist and founding member of reggae band UB40, has died

Terence wilson, artistically known as “Star”, died at age 64. He had been a vocalist and one of the founding members of the British reggae group, UB40. The news, posted on Twitter, was confirmed by the current band.

“We are completely devastated and heartbroken for having to tell you that our beloved Astro passed away today due to a very short illness“, the musical group posted from their networks.

In August of this year, the saxophonist and founding member of UB40, also passed away. Brian Travers, at age 62 at his home in Birmingham, central England, accompanied by his family.

Travers had had health problems since early 2019, when doctors detected two tumors in his brain, forcing him to miss a UB40 anniversary tour in March of that year.
