Asim Riaz Accuses BattleGround of Being Scripted, Removed from Show Amid Controversy

Asim Riaz is no stranger to controversy. The Bigg Boss 13 finalist was recently ousted from the fitness-based reality show Battleground, where he was serving as a judge. Sources claim the incident occurred on April 17 after a heated argument with co-judges Rubina Dilaik and Abhishek Malhan, also known as Fukra Insaan.

The tension escalated when Rubina tried to mediate, but Asim allegedly insulted her, sparking a full-blown clash. The filming was abruptly halted, and the trio retreated to their vans. Talks between Asim’s team and the show’s producers are reportedly underway to resolve the issue.

Asim Riaz Takes to Instagram

Asim’s exit sparked speculation, which he seemed to fuel with an Instagram post on April 19. The photo shows him holding a cigarette, accompanied by a middle finger emoji and the caption “SCRIPTED.” He also took to his Instagram story to vent his frustrations.

‘I Kicked the Script’

In his story, Asim wrote, “Paid media has no backbone, just a rate card. They print what they’re told.” He added, “I decide when to move forward. Keep shouting, I was kicked out – I kicked the script and turned the game around. Make the next headline.”

This isn’t the first time Asim’s aggressive behavior has landed him in trouble. In 2024, he was removed from Khatron Ke Khiladi 14 after a confrontation with host Rohit Shetty. Asim had refused to complete a stunt and challenged the makers, saying, “Do it in front of me. If you succeed, I won’t take a single rupee.” The response was swift – he was out of the show.
