Asian Cup 2022: Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) has made major changes to its squad for the 2022 Asian Cup. The BCB appointed young batting all-rounder Afif Hossain as its vice-captain on Saturday. Afif, 22, will support his captain Shakib Al Hasan in this tournament. The star left-handed batsman has played 47 T20 Internationals so far since he made his T20I debut for Bangladesh in February 2018. During this, he scored 698 runs with the help of two half centuries and also took eight wickets. Bangladesh has to play its first match against Afghanistan in Sharjah. But the injury of the players increased the problems of him. Two of Bangladesh’s leading players have been ruled out of the tournament.
