Ashes: steve harmison feels a lot of english players were left out after bowling day tryout heartbreak

Former England right-arm pacemaker Steve Harmison feels that many players will be fired after an inning and a 14-run loss in the Boxing Day event. Along with this, he has also demanded an investigation into this defeat. Harmison, who led England to the top with 226 wickets in 63 events, told BT Sport on Tuesday.

After controlling England by 68 in the second inning, the hosts took an impregnable 3-0 lead before Test 4 at SCG starting January 5.

Harmison said the team coached by Joe Root had performed extremely poorly, prompting him to ask for a change in batting order. His score of 68 is England’s lowest score since March 1904.

Harmison praised Australia’s preparation for the Ashes, saying he threw with the right line and length, scored enough runs to pressure opponents and looked good on the field.
