As Sri Lankan players knelt in front of Rohit’s bat, ‘Hitman’ scored double century

Interestingly, this was also Rohit’s best ODI score.

It seemed as if the Sri Lankan bowlers had knelt in front of them. Rohit scored 264 runs on 173 balls. His innings included 33 fours and 9 sixes.

Thanks to Rohit’s excellent tackles, the India team scored 404 runs for the loss of 5 wickets in 50 overs. In response, the Sri Lankan team made 251 runs. Thus Sri Lanka had to face defeat by 153 runs. Dhawal Kulkarni took 4 wickets for India in this match. While Umesh Yadav and Stuart Binny each took two wickets.
