AS Rome: Twelve children found thanks to recruits

Since the dissemination of announcements of disappearance coupled with those of transfers from the AS Rome club on Twitter, twelve children have been found unharmed since 2019.

When football is united. Since he launched this very original communication, in partnership with the agency ICMEC (International Center for Missing and Exploited Children), the Roman club (now coached by José Mourinho) can boast of having brought smiles to several families.

Indeed, with each presentation of a new recruit, AS Rome attaches the photo of the player and announcements of search for missing children. The goal is to surf the club’s vast community and the power of social networks to help associations and families.

This has been working for two years since 12 children were found. The most recent, a 16-year-old Polish woman thanks to the announcement of the arrival of Eldo Shomurodov.

In total, AS Rome has published profiles of around 150 missing people and the videos have been viewed 16 million times on social media. Many clubs would also be keen to carry out the same communication.
