EI I Congress of Sports Communication in the face of the new challenges of the XXI Century will take place in Badajoz Wednesday and Thursday. The event will have the directors of the main communication media both digital and press, radio, television and representatives of new platforms and streamers.
The congress will be divided into round tables, free presentations and keynote speeches. In the latter it will be in which he participates Vicente Jiménez, director of AS, who will offer a conference on Wednesday (4:00 p.m.) under the title ‘Innovate to grow’, on the important challenges facing the sector “to consolidate a sustainable digital business model”, before the irruption of new technologies and new channels, which have caused a different way of relating to audiences.
The event, which is free and is organized by the Diputación de Badajoz, is intended for teachers and students throughout Spain, media professionals and those responsible for communication or marketing management. Everyone can follow live too the round tables, such as the one that will deal with the new stories of sports journalism (tomorrow, 11:45 am), in which Juan Gutiérrez, deputy director of AS.
About thirty journalists will speak at the congress, among them Juan Ignacio Gallardo, Brand director; Luis Villarejo, from EFE; Arsenio Cañada, from TVE; Javier Guillén, from the Tour of Spain; Julián Redondo, from the AEPD; Eleonora Giovio, from El País, and José Luis Vela, from Cadena SER Extremadura.
