Arshdeep Singh, the first Indian to score an ‘off the ball’ hat-trick, couldn’t with the steps in Pune T20

Arshdeep came on to bowl the second over of the Sri Lankan innings. During this, Kusal Mendis was in front of him. He gave his first five balls for 5 runs. But the sixth ball became a no-ball. After this, he shot two balls no more in a row. In this way Arshdeep achieved a hat-trick without balls. He scored 14 runs on these three extra balls. Arshdeep expended a total of 19 runs in the first over. By the way, he had shot 5 foul balls in the entire match. He is the second player in the world to throw 5 balls without balls in a match in T20 International. Previously, New Zealand’s Hamish Rutherford had bowled 5 ball no balls in the T20 International match.

Left-arm fast bowler Arshdeep has played 22 T20 matches for India. During this, he didn’t throw any balls and went wide 14 times. This shows that there has been a problem of lack of ball for Arshdeep. Due to his weakness, the Indian team captain Hardik Pandya expressed his concern. During the presentation ceremony, Hardik said, one day may be good for you. One day it may be bad for you. But you shouldn’t go too far from the basics. It is very difficult for Arshdeep in this situation. In the second T20, India bowled a total of seven no-balls, in which 22 runs were scored. In this way, the poor bowling of Team India took it upon themselves to defeat India in the second T20.
