Arsenal’s Max Dowman Becomes Youngest Champions League Player at 15

Arsenal midfielder Max Dowman made history on Tuesday, becoming the youngest player ever to feature in a UEFA Champions League match at just 15 years and 308 days old.

Dowman surpassed the previous record set in 2020 by Youssoufa Moukoko, who was 16 years and 18 days old when he debuted in the elite European competition.

The London-based club acknowledged the milestone on its social media channels.

Dowman, a central midfielder, entered the match against Slavia Prague in the 72nd minute. The game was part of the Champions League’s fourth matchday in the group stage.
