Arsenal enters the bid to sign Moises Caicedo

According to journalist Ekrem Konur, the Arsenal has gotten into the bidding to get the services of Moises Caicedo in this summer transfer market and continue to strengthen their squad with the aim of getting into the fight for the Premier League title.

The Gunner outfit is looking for a central midfielder who can break into the rotation alongside Granit Xhaka, Thomas Partey and Mohamed Elneny. Mikel Arteta does not fully trust Albert-Sambi Lokonga, who could go out on loan in the coming weeks. The name they had listed was Youri Tielemans, but his move has been complicated by the fact that Leicester City only want to sell one of their stars this summer and Wesley Fofana is close to leaving for Chelsea.

Arsenal enters the bid to sign Moises Caicedo

Mois├ęs Caicedo is an option that the Spanish coach has begun to like a lot due to his individual quality and because he fits into the transfer policy that Arsenal has implemented in recent years.

The Ecuadorian’s explosion with Brighton and Hove Albion has generated a lot of interest among England’s greats, who see him as a more than interesting option to rejuvenate their midfield area. Manchester United is another of the teams interested in signing him, but they are still waiting for Frenkie de Jong’s future to be decided.

Arsenal would be willing to make an offer in the coming days and negotiate a possible transfer with Brighton. His departure will not be easy because he is young (20 years old), has a long-term contract (summer 2025) and Graham Potter’s team does not need to sell important parts after the departure of Marc Cucurella.
