Arrogance in the name of the Holy Prophet: Grief and anger remain among Indian Muslims

Khan Pathan, the custodian of Shah Alam Dargah in Ahmedabad, has said that the insolence done by Nopur Sharma in honor of the Holy Prophet is highly reprehensible.

In this regard, the Custodian of Shah Alam Dargah Khan Pathan while talking to the media said that Allah Almighty will punish the arrogant prophet, we as Muslims will continue to oppose and protest against this statement.

He said that the government could put us in jails for protesting. In such a situation, we can only pray that Allah Almighty punish the arrogant prophet so that in future no one can again insult the glory of the Holy Prophet.

Shahi Imam Siddiqui Shah Ashrafi of Shah Alam Dargah said that insulting the leader of any religion is against humanity. He said that insulting by Nopur Sharma has hurt the feelings of Muslims.

Local resident Sajid Sheikh said that people of different religions live in India, they should understand that no one should do anything that would hurt any religious sentiments.

He said that just as Wasim Rizvi was neither a Hindu nor a Muslim, his condition was bad and that of Nopur Sharma was about to get worse.

It may be recalled that last month, the former national spokesperson of the BJP, Nopur Sharma, during a TV debate, had uttered blasphemous phrases against the Holy Prophet (PBUH) against which Nopur Sharma and the BJP’s Delhi Protests were staged against former media in-charge Naveen Jundal and cases were registered against him.

In addition, Muslim countries around the world raised their voices against Nopur Sharma’s blasphemous statement and protested by summoning the Indian ambassadors stationed in those countries.
