Arouca Targets Two Midfielders, Center-Back in Transfer Window

Arouca's SDUQ in the market to expand Vasco Seabra's options

Arouca is getting ready for the new season. The team already has many good players. But they are still looking for more options. Coach Vasco Seabra wants to make his squad even stronger. The club is actively searching for new talent.

Word on the street, according to what the newspaper Record learned, is that Arouca has a shopping list. They want two new players for the middle of the field. Think of it like adding extra engines to a car. One midfielder needs to be good at attacking. This player would help create goals. The other midfielder should be strong in defense. This person would protect the backline.

Right now, Loum is the only player who regularly plays the holding midfield role. He’s the main anchor in front of the defense. So, another defensive midfielder is a top priority. For the attacking midfield spot, Pablo Gozálbez is currently the best choice. He’s the team’s main “number 10,” the one who links up play.

Arouca also needs a new player for the defense. They are looking for a center-back. This is because Chico Lamba recently left the team. He moved to Saint-Étienne, a club in France. The club needs to fill that open spot to keep their defense solid.
