Liverpool manager Arne Slot publicly voiced “ridiculous” frustration over the club’s unexpected string of recent defeats as they prepare for a crucial match.
“This is ridiculous. It’s a situation I would never expect to experience at a club where I worked, much less as Liverpool’s coach,” Slot stated. He described the situation as “unbelievable and unexpected.”
The Dutch coach’s remarks follow a period of intense pressure for Liverpool, which has suffered eight losses in its last 11 games, securing only three wins.
The struggling side is set to host PSV on Wednesday, a team currently enjoying excellent form.
Despite his frustration, Slot stressed the team’s resolve. “The harder it gets, the more united we are,” he asserted.
