Arjun Kapoor recently shocked his fans when he shared before and after photos of his physical transformation over the past 15 months. The Ishaqzaade actor also revealed that his work and his audiences inspire him. Arjun said that he wants to win back the love and respect of the audience from him. The Half Girlfriend actor said in an interview with the Hindustan Times, “For me, the audience is sacred. I didn’t do it for any other reason.”

In addition, the actor said that he got back into his groove and said to himself: ‘I owe my profession, I owe my producers and my audience for it.’ He said that he is not Tiger Shroff and admits that he does not try to be. He wants to be the best version of himself that is loved by the audience.

Arjun also said that he had lost a few pounds before debuting in the industry. The actor said, “Before I started, I lost around 50 kilograms. So I was 20 years old, I went from 143 kg to 93 kg. But after 10 years my body has changed. I have suffered injuries, health problems, workload, etc. But it’s not that I’m not mentally capable. Maybe it takes me more time physically to do it, that’s why it’s taken me 15 months to get in shape. ,


Meanwhile, on the work front, Arjun has several interesting films in the works. Currently he is filming The Lady Killer with Bhumi Pednekar in Manali. This is the first collaboration between the two stars. Produced by Bhushan Kumar, Krishan Kumar and Shailesh R Singh and directed by Ajay Behl. Apart from this, he also has Ek Villain Returns with Disha Patani, John Abraham and Tara Sutaria. It is scheduled to hit theaters on July 29, 2022. Arjun will also star in Kutty, which is directed by Aakash Bhardwaj and will also star Tabu, Naseeruddin Shah, and Radhika Madan in the lead roles.
