Argentinos Juniors: mourning the death of Adrián Pérez, 1st vice president of the club

The first vice president of Argentinos Juniors, Adrián Pérez, passed away this Sunday at the age of 50 and the club decreed three days of mourning. Through its official channels, the institution of La Paternal reported the death of “Uru” Pérez, a member of the Board of Directors headed by Cristian Malaspina.

Pérez, who had turned 50 on May 31, took over as first vice president of “Bicho” at the end of 2019 when Cristian Malaspina was re-elected as president without elections on the unity list.

After the sad news, the club announced that there will be three days of mourning “with suspension of activities in all its properties until next Tuesday the 6th inclusive.”

Argentinos Juniors comes from beating Platense 1-0 on Friday night in the Professional League and next Wednesday they will host Liverpool, from Uruguay, for the fifth date of group E of the Copa Libertadores.
