Despite his impressive performance in the limited number of races he participated in last season, Franco Colapinto has been left without a seat for the upcoming season. The Argentine driver, who finished with five points and secured eighth place in Baku, has been replaced by Carlos Sainz at Williams.
However, Colapinto’s talent and potential have not gone unnoticed. Alpine, a French team, is reportedly considering him as a possible replacement for Jack Doohan if the rookie fails to perform at the start of the next campaign.

Alpine’s Interest in Colapinto
Flavio Briatore, Alpine’s executive advisor, has expressed interest in having Colapinto join the team. In an interview with Sport Bild, Briatore stated, “Yes, it’s true. I am always looking for the best options for us. Pierre (Gasly) did a great job last season, and we are starting the new season with him and Jack (Doohan). But who knows what will happen.”
While Colapinto’s future is uncertain, his talent and potential make him an attractive option for teams like Alpine. As the new season approaches, it will be interesting to see how Colapinto’s situation unfolds.
