The Argentine driver, who finished with five points and secured eighth place in Baku, has been replaced by Carlos Sainz at Williams.

Flavio Briatore, Alpine’s executive advisor, has expressed interest in having Colapinto join the team. In an interview with Sport Bild, Briatore stated, “Yes, it’s true. I am always looking for the best options for us. Pierre (Gasly) did a great job last season, and we are starting the new season with him and Jack (Doohan). But who knows what will happen.”
