According to a new leak, Apple suppliers are increasing their production capacity for the AirPods 2 Pro.
All because the Cupertino company wants the headphones to reach users in the last quarter of this year.
Apple AirPods Pro 2 may arrive in Christmas 2022
Rumors about the arrival date of the AirPods 2 Pro at the hands of users are getting louder. Now it is the Digitimes website that reinforces the information that Apple wants its headphones to reach users in the last quarter of the year, probably to take advantage of the usual peak in sales that occurs during the Christmas season.
For that to happen, the apple company’s suppliers are increasing their production capacity, in order to meet the schedule defined by Apple.
This news comes shortly after well-known analyst Ming-Chi Kuo revealed the launch schedule for the AirPods Pro and also named the October-December 2022 period as a possible release date for the earbuds.
Expected Specs on Apple AirPods Pro 2
The well-known analyst hopes that the new generation of headphones will be equipped with the Apple Lossless Audio Codec and, if so, this will be the first model from the Cupertino giant to include support for lossless audio.
This specification is especially important because it preserves all the data in the original audio file, allowing for better sound quality. However, Apple has chosen to release AirPods with Bluetooth technology to provide audio, which means that it uses Advanced Audio Codec technology for audio streaming. This results in some loss of audio and quality.
New features that offer more convenience and utility.
Another new feature will be that the AirPods Pro 2 charging base can have support for sound output. This feature will be of great use to users as it allows them to find the base, if it is separate from the headphones.
Analyst Ming-Chi Kuo adds that Apple’s new generation of headphones could also be redesigned.
They may appear to be more rounded in shape, in order to provide greater comfort, especially during periods of prolonged use.
