Apple’s smartwatch has been available for sale for a week.
But getting the Apple Watch Series 7 in hand can take more than a month. Delivery delays are occurring in several countries, including Portugal.
Order the Apple Watch 7 today and get it on November 17
Apple’s latest smartwatch was unveiled at the brand’s event on September 14 alongside the new iPhone and iPad models. But it wasn’t until October 8 that Apple made pre-orders available.
On that date, the company planned to deliver the Apple Watch 7 to first users within a week. That is, whoever pre-ordered the registration on October 8, received the equipment at home on October 15.
But lo and behold, everything changed. At this time, it may take more than a month for the new Watch Series 7 to reach users. In Portugal, whoever orders the Apple smartwatch today will be notified that the delivery will take place between November 17 and 24.
Delays in Apple Smartwatch Deliveries Recorded Worldwide
And there are apparently long waiting lists around the world. In Australia, the delay is similar to that in our country, with deliveries within four to six weeks.
In the UK online store, the situation gets a bit worse. It’s just that if a British user orders an Apple Watch Series 7 today, its delivery is scheduled between November 25 and December 15.
In the United States of America, some smartwatch models can be delivered within five to seven business days, but other models also take four to six weeks.
In fact, with the number of options that the Apple Watch 7 offers, it is proven that the most desirable models are the ones that are experiencing the most delay in delivery.
Several analysts had already predicted that this situation could occur, adding that Apple was running the risk of depleting all the stock produced for the launch of the device.
The same analysts also claimed that the long period between the announcement of the Apple Watch 7 and the opening of pre-orders could be due to the difficulties encountered by the company in obtaining components for the production of the smartwatch.
Apple has yet to comment on the sometimes long delay in delivering the equipment, so no one can think of a specific reason for what is happening.
