Apple Watch Series 7: know when the watch will arrive in stores

A report by Mark Gurman worried the Apple community when he reported problems experienced in the production of the Apple Watch Series 7. These problems forced the production of the watch to stop, which could affect its launch in stores.

Now, the renowned Ming-Chi Kuo comes to rest to all those who long for the launch of the Apple Watch Series 7. According to an analyst, Apple has already overcome all the problems in the production of this device and its launch will take place in September.

Apple Watch Series 7 will go on sale at the end of September

According to what Kuo reveals, the Apple Watch Series 7 will begin shipping at the end of September. Unfortunately, it does not advance a specific date for the arrival of this smartwatch on users’ wrists.

Apple Watch Series 7

Ming-Chi Kuo is reporting a two-week delay in the Apple Watch Series 7 production schedule. In fact, mass production of the product will only begin in the middle of this month, roughly two weeks later than initially planned.

It is important to note that the presentation of the Apple Watch Series 7 is still expected on September 14. It will be made when the iPhone 13 is introduced, however it should hit stores later than Apple’s new smartphones.

The design of the Apple Watch Series 7 complicated its production

What motivated the problems Apple encountered when developing its new smartwatch was its design. The new model will come with straighter edges and a screen with better use of the body, following the philosophy of the iPhone.

In fact, it was the new screen of the Apple Watch Series 7 that made production of the device difficult. Apple will use, for the first time, an OLED G6 screen with new production processes.

This new panel has caused some hiccups for Apple, but that could be worth it in the long run. This is because the new panels will be more efficient and cost less to produce. In the end, everyone will benefit from the transition to OLED G6 panels.

Apple expects to sell up to 45 million copies

Kuo completes his latest report with his predictions on the sales of the Apple Watch Series 7. As it progresses, Apple expects to sell between 40 and 45 million copies of the Apple Watch Series 7.

In 2021 alone, the analyst’s forecast points to the range of 14 to 16 million units of the new smartwatch. Remember that Apple never releases official sales figures for its products, so we will have to rely on other reports to see if these predictions are confirmed.
