Apple Watch 8 will warn you if you have a fever according to Gurman

The Apple Watch Series 8, scheduled for release after the summer, will include a body temperature sensor as part of its annual update.

A new report claims that the sensor can determine if the user has a fever.

According to Mark Gurman’s “Power On” newsletter for Bloomberg, the Apple Watch Series 8 will include the feature in its standard model, as well as a new edition with improved endurance.

According to Gurman, the function will not provide a specific temperature to the userbut should “be able to tell if he thinks you have a fever”.

Like other Apple Watch detection systems, it may advise the user to use a specific thermometer to get a more accurate reading or contact their doctor.

In addition to the temperature sensor, Gurman confirms that it will have the same effective processing power as the Apple Watch Series 6, although there has apparently been talk of updated screens on some models.
