The xrOS will be, according to all indications, the operating system that will equip the new product of the technology based in Cupertino. It will be one of the most important moments in the company’s history, celebrating its entry into a new category.
It is important to remember that there are innumerable rumors that take for granted the revelation of the expected Mixed Reality device from Apple next June. Therefore, there is a widespread belief that this will indeed be the setting for its presentation.
The new device from Apple, dubbed by some as the Reality Pro, promises to be a truly impressive device. In fact, several analysts believe that it will have the potential to revolutionize the Virtual Reality market.
In technical terms, the rumored Reality Pro will be equipped with two micro OLED displays developed by Sony with 4K resolution. It will arrive equipped with two TSMC-developed processors, 12 cameras and a wide range of sensors to track users’ head movements.
All of this technology won’t come cheap, as evidenced by rumors of a retail price of around $3,000. It definitely won’t be a gadget for the masses, but it promises to leave many speechless.
