Apple Reveals iOS 26 and iPadOS 26 Compatible iPhone and iPad Models

Big changes are coming to Apple devices. The company just announced its new operating systems, and they’re packed with new features. But which iPhones and iPads will be able to run the new software?

Notice some older models like the iPhone Xs, Xs Max, and XR are missing from the list. That’s not a surprise, since they got an extra update last year.

  • iPad (8th generation)

The only iPad that won’t get the update is the 7th generation iPad from 2019.

Developers can already test the new software, and soon everyone will be able to try it out. Apple plans to release the final versions this fall, with all the new features and changes.
