Apple: MacBook Pro with M2 Pro and M2 Max may arrive sooner than you think

It is on September 7th that Apple has its next ‘Far Out’ event. This will be used for the presentation of the new iPhone 14 and Apple Series 8. But there are already other products in preparation for future events.

As expected, the next generation of MacBook Pro will already be prepared with M2 Pro and M2 Max processors. And while this is unlikely, there is a chance that they could still see the light of day this year.

MacBook Pro with M2 Pro and M2 Max could arrive this fall, according to Bloomberg

This is confirmed by Mark Gurman, a journalist for Bloomberg, in the latest issue of the Power On newsletter. According to this source, Apple plans to release these laptops “as early as the fall.”

However, as Apple continues to suffer from component shortages, this release may be delayed. Also because, according to analyst Ming-Chi Kuo, the mass production of this equipment will begin in the last quarter of the year.

There remains a big question about these future Apple processors. The rumors are divided between the possibility of being the first 3 nanometers, or staying at 5 nanometers.

What seems correct, and even compared to the already released M2 processor, is that the M2 Pro and M2 Max will have more dedicated GPU cores. In addition, the RAM memory is also expected to go further.

What should not be changed, as MacRumors says, is the design of these devices. These were redesigned in the 2021 models, with the return of various ports, including MagSafe, and the inclusion of a notch.
