Last week Apple presented the new iPhone 14. Four smartphones that promise to succeed in the market. But as usual, Cupertino technology did not reveal the specific battery capacity figures for the new models.
The company with the cracked apple has a habit of revealing the autonomy of the models in hours of carrying out a certain activity, and so it was with the new models. But the MacRumors website has already gone public with the numbers many have been waiting for.
The source reportedly obtained this information from a Chinese regulator’s database. And as we can see below, three of the four models have a higher capacity battery than the previous generation.
iPhone 14 battery capacity:
- iPhone 14: 3,279mAh
- iPhone 14 Plus: 4,325mAh
- iPhone 14 Pro: 3200mAh
- iPhone 14 Pro Max: 4,323mAh
It’s good to note that the “mini” iPhone disappears from the new lineup, so the first comparison comes from iPhone 13 to iPhone 14. The previous model had a capacity of 3,227 mAh, so there is a small jump.
The iPhone 14 Plus comes with a 4,325 mAh battery, which Apple refers to as the largest battery ever installed in an iPhone. The iPhone 13 Pro had 3095 mAh, now it jumps to 3200 mAh.
iPhone 14 Pro Max with less battery capacity than iPhone 13 Pro Max
The one who saw a small decrease in capacity was the iPhone 14 Pro Max, with 4323 mAh compared to 4352 mAh of the previous model. But given the possible better battery management of the processor, users should not feel any negative difference.
The source says that it was through this same database that the battery capacity of the iPhone 13 was revealed before its arrival on the market in 2021.
