Apple invites media specializing in VR/AR to its keynote at WWDC: Reality Pro glasses are getting closer

Apple has sent invitations to its upcoming WWDC keynote to certain media specialized in Virtual Reality / Augmented Reality.

Historically, Apple has not invited media specializing in Virtual Reality or Augmented Reality to its events, much less commented on the Mixed Reality technology that the company has been developing for years.

Road to RV is one of the ways They received for the first time an invitation to the Apple WWDC keynote. The same goes for the website UploadVR confirmed the same.

It’s hard not to interpret the invitations in the midst of the growing number of reports that Apple plans to reveal its first XR device at the keynote that will take place on June 5th.

Apple’s entry into the Mixed Reality space has raised high hopes in the industry, thanks to Apple’s penchant for tackling usability issues, one of the major issues preventing the use of these technologies. There has been a lot of speculation about whether the company will lean more towards augmented reality, virtual reality or mixed reality.
