Apple has announced compensation for its top executives in 2023 and changes to its board of directors

Apple has announced the compensation packages of its top executives. CEO Tim Cook won $63.2 million in 2023, 36% less than the 99.4 million earned in 2022.

Additional members of the management team – CFO Luca Maestri, general counsel Kate Adams and COO Jeff Williams – joined 27 million dollars. Deirdre O'Brien, senior vice president of stores, won $26.9 million.

Al Gore, The former vice president of the US government will leave Apple's board after 21 years, when he reaches the maximum age to remain on the board, Apple said.

James Bell, who joined in 2015, will also be leaving the council. Apple has one “Long-standing policy that directors generally cannot seek re-election once they reach age 75.” The board elections will take place on February 28th as part of the annual shareholder event.
