Apple Fitness+: novelties arrive in Portugal at the end of autumn

Yesterday, at the Far Out conference, Apple also presented new features in its Fitness + service. From now on, iOS users will be able to enjoy this service even without having an Apple Watch.

The new update will be available later this fall in the 21 countries where the service is active. The good news: Portugal is included!

At its Far Out conference, Apple not only presented the new models of the iPhone 14 and the Apple Watch, although the focus was on these devices.

The Cupertino company took the opportunity to also present news about Apple Fitness +. From now on, users will be able to use this service on iPhone without the need for an Apple Watch.

But there is better news. The update will be available at the end of autumn 2022 in the 21 countries where the service is active and in which Portugal is included!

This means that users can access training programs, meditation and more through their iPhone.

Other novelties of this service will be the new seasons of Time to Walk and Time to Run, as well as the new Pilates for More Than Your Core collection.

“Since its launch just under two years ago, we’ve received incredible feedback from users about the difference Fitness+ is making in their lives. We’re excited to bring the award-winning service to more people by making Fitness+ available to all iPhone users this fall, even if they don’t have an Apple Watch,” said Jay Blahnik, Apple’s vice president of Fitness Technologies, in a statement.

EITHER Apple Fitness+ is already available in Portugal And with the purchase of an Apple Watch, all users get three months of this service for free. At the end of three months, the user can subscribe to the service, paying €9.99 per month or €59.99 by year.

The service has several training modalities available, including walking, cycling, dancing, rowing, pilates, treadmill running, meditation, among others. New exercises and meditations are also released weekly with durations ranging from five to 45 minutes.
