Apple brings another iconic product to the outdated shelf

In case you didn’t know, after a certain age, Apple products can achieve ‘vintage’ status and subsequently become obsolete. And now there is a new product in this category.

What it means to be a vintage or obsolete product for Apple

According to the official Apple website, the products are considered ‘vintage’ when the cracked apple company stopped distributing them for sale more than 5 and less than 7 years ago. They are considered obsolete when Apple stopped distributing them for sale more than 7 years ago.

Please note that “Apple is discontinuing all hardware services for obsolete products, with the sole exception of Mac computers that qualify for an additional battery-only repair period.”

It’s also good to note that service providers cannot order parts for obsolete products. This does not mean that the product will stop working.
