Anurag Kashyap wrote ‘Kennedy’ for this superstar, said: ‘He didn’t reply’

Famed filmmaker Anurag Kashyap is making headlines for his new movie Kennedy. These days the director is at the Cannes Film Festival, where Kennedy will be screened very soon. Rahul Bhatt will be seen in the lead role of this movie. Meanwhile, Anurag Kashyap revealed that Chiyaan Vikram was the first choice for the Kennedy movie and also tried to talk to the actor but there was no response.

During a conversation with Film Companion, Anurag Kashyap said, “When I was writing this movie, I had an actor in mind, after whom the movie is titled. That actor’s nickname is Kennedy. That’s why the name of this movie was Project Kennedy and this is Chiyaan Vikram Chian Vikram’s real name is Kennedy I tried to talk to him but he didn’t answer.


Anurag Kashyap further said: ‘After this I contacted Rahul Bhatt. I gave him the script to read and he was excited. He asked who is doing this. I said do you want He asked me? So I said that you have to give everything for this film. He was about to do a few more movies, but he left. He has given eight months of his life to Kennedy.

It is known that Anurag Kashyap’s film Kennedy has been selected for the midnight screening at the 2023 Cannes Film Festival. It has been directed by Anurag Kashyap. Apart from Rahul Bhatt, stars like Sunny Leone, Abhilash Thapliyal will be seen in this film. The film’s story is based on an ex-cop who struggles with insomnia.
