Anuradha Paudwal started crying after hearing the remake of her song ‘Aaj Phir Tum Pe’ by Arijit Singh

Anuradha Paudwal is one of the most popular singers of her time. She has sung wonderful songs ranging from Hindi songs to bhajans. However, she doesn’t like remixes or recreated versions of her songs. Recently, during an interview, Anuradha herself quoted Arijit Singh’s re-enactment of ‘Aaj Phir Tum Pe’ and said that she wanted to cry after hearing it. At the same time, she has now clarified this statement.

At the same time, Anuradha Paudwal has clarified her statement. He said: “I have always prioritized original songs over remixes. Many people feel the same. My comment on ‘Aaj Phir Tum Pe’ was about the remix and not about the singer. The remix should do the original song justice. Many songs from the 90s have been recreated but they don’t do the originals justice. We have also paid tribute to music composers, but it was done in a dignified manner.”

In fact, while speaking to Indian Express recently, Anuradha Paudwal said: “It happened when someone asked me to listen to this (remix) of Dayavan (‘Aaj Phir Tum Pe’). The person told me it was a super-duper hit track and sent me away. Tears welled up in my eyes when I heard it. I immediately switched to YouTube and listened to my original song several times from the movie. I found peace).

Please say that the song ‘Aaj Phir Tum Pe’ was originally sung by Pankaj Udhas and Anuradha Paudwal. This song from the movie ‘Dayavan’ was staged in Vinod Khanna and Madhuri Dixit and was composed by Laxmikant-Pyarelal. This song was recreated for ‘Hate Story 2’ and was sung by Arijit Singh and Sameera Koppikar.
