Anupam Kher is no stranger to the silver screen, and at 70, he’s still going strong. The veteran actor recently shared a video on Instagram that has left fans stunned. It shows him stuck in a jungle, trying to reach the set of his upcoming film with Prabhas. But what happens next is nothing short of incredible.
The video begins with Anupam standing next to his car, which is stuck on a narrow road surrounded by lush greenery. He explains that his driver took a wrong turn, and now they’re lost in the jungle. The set is on the other side of a wall, and Anupam has to find a way to get there. With a mixture of humor and determination, he says, “Now, the unit will have to get me out of the jungle and onto the set using stairs.” He then proceeds to climb onto a chair, use a ladder to cross the wall, and finally reaches the other side, where the crew is waiting to help him.
As he makes his way to the set, Anupam can’t help but laugh at the absurdity of the situation. He jokes, “See what we have to do in this profession!” The video has gone viral, and fans are loving the actor’s spirit and sense of humor. Anupam captioned the post, “From this side to that side! In my 40-year film career, I’ve entered sets in different ways, but today’s experience was the most unique and fun.”
The film, which is yet to be titled, is being directed by Hanu Raghavapudi and produced by Mythri Movie Makers. Anupam is also working on his directorial venture, “The Great Indian Cha Cha Cha,” starring Karan Tacker, Jackie Shroff, and Aravind Swamy, which is set to release on July 18. Additionally, he will be seen in Anurag Basu’s “Metro…In Dino,” alongside Pankaj Tripathi, Sara Ali Khan, Aditya Roy Kapur, and Konkona Sen Sharma, which hits theaters on July 4.
