Veteran actor Anupam Kher says that the movie ‘The Kashmir Files’ is an example of how a mid-budget movie with a powerful story can reach such heights. Speaking about the film, Anupam kher said, “Being a person with Kashmiri roots, this film was also instrumental in attracting many people who came to my house through a window in Baramulla. Regards Cheri, Kheer Bhavani, the kindness of Nishat Garden and Dal Lake, which I still think about even after traveling the world”.

‘The Kashmir Files’ is written and directed by Vivek Agnihotri. The film features a fictional story focusing on the exodus of Hindus from Kashmir to Kashmir.

As of 28 April 2022, the film, which reportedly cost between Rs 15-25 crore, had grossed Rs 340.16 crore worldwide.

He said, “It was instrumental in bringing to light a story that deserved to create a special and lasting connection with the audience and a special and lasting connection for any actor, which means anything. More success.”

However, after performing well in theaters, ‘The Kashmir Files’ will have its world television premiere on June 25 at Zee Cinema, where people can enjoy the film from home.
