AnTuTu, a well-known benchmarking platform, has just published its list of the most powerful Android smartphones on the market in December 2022. A list that, unsurprisingly, is already dominated by the new Snapdragon 8 Gen 2.
Qualcomm’s latest processor proves its worth just a few weeks after its official presentation. Proof of this are the seven places occupied by the teams that deposit all the operations in this powerful component.
iQOO 11 Pro Tops AnTuTu December List
I want to first of all note that this table brings us to the Chinese version of the AnTuTu platform. The availability of the global version of this hierarchy can show different results, especially since almost all the models present here have not yet left China.
Leading this table we have the iQOO 11 Pro with the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processor. This device managed to accumulate 1.31 million points in AnTuTu that make it the most powerful Android smartphone today.
In second place is the Redmi K60 Pro with a score of more than 1.30 million points in the same tests. Completing the podium is the vivo X90 Pro+ with 1,299,346 points.
It is curious to note that the Xiaomi 13 and Xiaomi 13 Pro appear only in the fifth and sixth position, respectively, in this table, although they use the same Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 as the Redmi K60 Pro. This only shows that it is not only the processor that that counts in the evaluations carried out by AnTuTu.
By the way, parameters such as the types of memory used or the optimization of the software itself influence the results obtained on this and other reference platforms. That is, they evaluate a set of factors that will influence the experience of using the equipment.
MediaTek is also present in this chart with its latest Dimensity 9200 processor. It gets it through vivo X90 and vivo X90 Pro with scores of 1108874 and 1275365 respectively.
As more smartphones are released during 2023, it’s only natural that there will be changes in this hierarchy of the most powerful smartphones of the moment. This is always an excellent reference barometer if you want to acquire equipment capable of supporting any task.
