Mumbai captain Rohit Sharma was fined Rs 12 lakh for speeding in the IPL match played on Sunday. “Mumbai Indians have been fined for maintaining a slow surcharge during their Tata Indian Premier League (IPL) 2022 match against Delhi Capitals at Brabourne Stadium in Mumbai on March 27,” IPL said in a press release.
It read: “This is the team’s first offense involving a surcharge, therefore Mumbai Indians captain Rohit Sharma has been fined Rs 12 lakh.”
It is worth noting that while batting first, Mumbai set a target of 178 runs. During this, Rohit played a major inning of 41 runs. While Ishan Kishan scored 81 runs while he was batting.
