Another setback for Mumbai after loss against Delhi, Rohit fined Rs 12 lakh

Along with this defeat, the team has suffered another setback. Team captain Rohit Sharma has been fined for speeding. Mumbai had to face defeat by 4 wickets in this match.

Mumbai captain Rohit Sharma was fined Rs 12 lakh for speeding in the IPL match played on Sunday. “Mumbai Indians have been fined for maintaining a slow surcharge during their Tata Indian Premier League (IPL) 2022 match against Delhi Capitals at Brabourne Stadium in Mumbai on March 27,” IPL said in a press release.

It read: “This is the team’s first offense involving a surcharge, therefore Mumbai Indians captain Rohit Sharma has been fined Rs 12 lakh.”

It is worth noting that while batting first, Mumbai set a target of 178 runs. During this, Rohit played a major inning of 41 runs. While Ishan Kishan scored 81 runs while he was batting. He also hit 11 fours and 2 sixes in 48 balls. In response, the Delhi team won the match in 18.2 overs with the loss of 6 wickets. Lalit Yadav and Axar Patel played brilliant tackles for the team.
