Announcement of last date of Umrah permits

The Saudi Ministry of Hajj and Umrah has announced the deadline for Umrah permits.

According to Arab media, in order to facilitate the pilgrims during the Hajj season, the issuance of Umrah permits will be stopped and Umrah will be allowed after Hajj.

The ministry has set a deadline of Thursday, June 23 for Umrah permits, after which Umrah permits will not be issued.

In a statement, the ministry clarified that the issuance of Umrah permits through Tawakalna and Etemarna app would continue till the due date.

After Eid-ul-Adha, issuance of Umrah permits will be resumed on 20 Zul-Hijjah.

The Saudi Ministry of Hajj and Umrah has said that the validity of Umrah visa has been extended to 30 days, now those who come on Umrah visa will be able to go to different cities.

According to the Saudi Ministry, Umrah pilgrims are free to travel between the cities of Makkah and Madinah and in all cities of the kingdom during their stay.

Saudi officials have recently relaxed measures regarding Umrah, as the kingdom has significantly eased sanctions against the Karuna epidemic.
