More and more users leave the system Android by Googleand find a new home Apple iOS. In fact, the iPhone attracts more and more users, although the prices of Apple mobiles remain in the segment premium in 2022.

These were some of the conclusions presented by Tim Cook, CEO of the Cupertino giant during the last fiscal meeting of the year. There, the North American executive also celebrated the new revenue record obtained with 83,000 million dollars, or around 81,000 million euros during the last three months.

The 2% increase in quarterly revenue was only overshadowed by the rising tide of users migrating from Android to iOS. Tim Cook stressed that never before have so many Android smartphones left a place for their iPhone in users’ pockets. The executive is referring to “a giant number of Android users who have joined Apple’s ranks in recent months.”

The “iPhone welcomed millions of new users to the Android ecosystem in the June quarter.” The trend bolstered Apple’s revenue last quarter, as well as boosting the number of iPhone users. Please note that these metrics are based on app store activations as well as previous StockApp reports.

All the results and metrics can be consulted in the latest tax report, published by Apple itself. More specifically, in the space of four years, the popularity of the Google fell from 77.32% to 69.74%.

On the other hand, with the slowdown in the mobile device market, we had fewer units, fewer smartphones sold in the last quarter of 2022. Still, Samsung retains the first place, with Apple in second place, and lastly, Xiaomi, OPPO and I live in the third, fourth and fifth place, respectively.

In short, with the next generation of Apple iPhone 14 smartphones already on the horizon, Tim Cook’s company has serious reasons to be optimistic. More and more users prefer its ecosystem and product portfolio to the detriment of competitors.
