Android 12L Beta 2 now available for this list of Google smartphones

The latest (second) trial version (beta version) of Android 12L is now available, the update dedicated to folding smartphones, tablets and other large-screen mobile devices. Here is the list of compatible equipment, as well as some of the main new features introduced in this trial version.

Although Android 12 was recently launched by Google in October 2021, the American technology company has a new leg of news for its mobile devices. A range of enhancements dedicated to the foldable smartphone niche that are also already gaining expression in the market.

The new build was recently announced, with corresponding release notes label it as an incremental update for programmers.

In fact, developers are encouraged to start testing their applications, SDKs and libraries for compatibility, as well as providing compatible versions and complex applications with the official SDK 32 API where necessary.

It should also be noted that a third test version (beta) will arrive during the next month of February 2022. This will be, according to Google, the last test build of Android 12 to arrive during the first quarter of the year.

The primacy now given to the big screen was already expected by North American technology. In fact, as the previous post shows, focusing on the productivity that we can get from these larger devices.

With the new firmware available from now on, Google incorporates the correction of several errors found in the first collection of tests, in addition to better adapting the UI to the folding format. This also paves the way for future enhancements to be introduced with the third trial version.

Among the practical fixes and improvements in Android 12 L is the lock screen clock, which until then had display errors. In practice, it did not appear centered, nor did the application icons that sometimes were not displayed.
