Andrea Fernández has spent the last 17 years of her life coaching, and she considers it her philosophy of life and way of navigating the world. As a coach, she is committed to accompanying her players 24 hours a day, and her approach is centered around freedom, gratitude, and appreciativity. For Andrea, coaching is not just about achieving success, but about helping her players become conscious individuals with a sense of purpose.
Andrea’s own life is a testament to the power of coaching. She became pregnant with her daughter Guadalupe at the age of 49, using a donor, and considers this one of the greatest acts of love and courage in her life. As a mother, Andrea has applied the same coaching principles she uses with her players to her own life, designing her own philosophy and traveling with it. She believes that coaches need to first design their own philosophy and then accompany their clients.
Core Values
Andrea’s coaching philosophy is built around core values such as freedom, gratitude, and appreciativity. She believes that when individuals carry the flag of gratitude, magic happens. Another key value is recognizing talent in others, which she considers essential in today’s world. Having a winning mentality is also crucial, but it must be sustained with values and ambition. In football, Andrea aims to design extraordinary results, rubbing against the impossible, with a clear slogan of taking care of well-being and enjoyment.
Andrea’s journey as a coach has been marked by significant milestones, including her certification with Joseph and his wife Andrea Lages. She also had the opportunity to train with Timothy Gallwey, the author of “The Inner Game,” who taught her to love coaching and showed her a different way of listening to others.
Legacy
Andrea’s legacy extends beyond her work with individual players. She has also made a significant impact on the sport of football, becoming one of the pioneers in coaching and one of the first to work in a coaching staff of a football team. Her school is the only football coaching certification in the world, and her vision is to humanize football. Andrea believes that coaching should be part of education in schools, teaching children to manage emotions, make decisions, and learn from failure.
Coaching tries to dare to talk about impossible and dare to make history. When a person dares to be observed, it becomes a brave human being, there is nothing more challenging than facing our own beliefs and those fears that we all have very stored
Andrea’s message is clear: coaching is not just about achieving success, but about helping individuals become the best version of themselves. By accompanying her players through a methodology that allows them to make their own decisions, Andrea has empowered them to take control of their lives and achieve their dreams. Her legacy will continue to inspire and motivate future generations of coaches and players, and her impact on the sport of football will be remembered for years to come.
