Season 2 of ‘Andor’ will have 12 chapters

The creator and executive producer of ‘Andor’, Tony Gilroy, spoke to Deadline about the upcoming season, saying, “One of the great emotions of making Andor is at the scale of the story and the number of characters we can know: common people, imperial lords, passionate revolutionaries.” He also emphasized that “Cassian’s journey is the soul and the backbone of our history, but it is the choir that creates the show.”

Three of them led by Mexican Alonso Ruizpalacios

Season 2 of ‘Andor’ will premiere on April 22 on Disney+ and will consist of 12 episodes, released three at a time every week. In addition to Diego Luna, the Mexican Alonso Ruizpalacios will also shine in this new season, having directed episodes 10, 11, and 12 of ‘Andor’ 2. Ruizpalacios is a film director known for his work on tapes like ‘Güeros’, ‘The Kitchen’, and ‘You Are Killing Me, Susana’.
