The group “Riposte Alimentaire” justified its action by saying that “this spring is the only one we have left if we do not react.” The motivation behind these measures is the search for alternative solutions to address climate challenges and food security.
The group proposes including food in the social security system as part of an agricultural transformation to make it more sustainable and ensure fair pay for field workers. These protests join similar events held by environmental groups at various museums around the world.
