An elderly Chinese woman left her three children without an inheritance and decided her $2.8 million estate would go to her pets.
The woman from Shanghai made this drastic decision because her three children neglected her and never cared about their health as they grew older.
According to his version, his dogs and cats were his only company and source of support at this stage of his life.
However, the woman surnamed Liu said she made this decision because her children never took care of her, did not visit her and rarely called her.

A few years ago, the woman signed a will with which she wanted to determine the future of her assets after her death.
In that first document she had divided her inheritance among her three children, but their behavior made her rethink everything.
The old woman surprised her by drawing up a new will with the lawyers and leaving everything to her estate to your pets.
The South China Morning Post portal revealed that a veterinary clinic will be responsible for managing the pets’ inheritance.
This is because there is no legal regulation in China that allows animals to be recognized as heirs.
In this way, the woman must appoint a person she trusts to also supervise the vet.
Beijing Chinese Will Registration Center official Chen Kai said the elderly woman needed to contact this person to have her inheritance administered.
“Liu’s current will is one-sided and we would have advised him to name someone he trusts to oversee the veterinary clinic and ensure the pets are properly cared for,” he said.
