An application allows Sevilla to charge for the transfer of Reguilón!

Among other applications of great interest, Sevilla has just developed Transfer Tracker, a digital tool that will allow the Nervionense club to identify, verify and claim the solidarity mechanism from transfers retroactively before they expire, that is, after four years. According to latest estimates, there are more than a few €1 billion in unclaimed compensation that clubs have the right to request.

Thanks to Transfer Tracker, Sevilla has identified more than 700 movements of players trained in the entity in the frame in 53 different competitions. As a result, the red and white club managed to generate more than one million euros in associated charges to the solidarity mechanism in recent months. Although it was a well-known movement worldwide, the application helps, for example, in the Sánchez-Pizjuán more than 100,000 euros have been collected for the year that Sergio Reguilón happened at the club.

Annex 5.1 of the Player Transfer Statute Regulations establishes the Solidarity Mechanism. The contribution is 5% of any compensation, excluding the one that corresponds to training rights. This percentage is distributed proportionally between the clubs or the club (depending on the case), which trained the player from the age of 12 to 23. From 12 to 15 years old, 0.25 percent of the total pass is received (per year in the training club) and between 16 and 23 years old, 0.5 percent.

Reguilón was in Seville on loan in 2019-2020, when he entered the season of turning 23, with which the Seville club had the right and thus claimed 0.5 percent of the around 30 million euros which meant the sale of the Madrid left back from Real Madrid to Tottenham. Right now, Reguilón is on loan at Atlético de Madrid.
