Amy Schumer Flaunts Toned Legs in Red Minidress, Credits Mounjaro

Amy Schumer stepped out recently in New York, showcasing her figure in a vibrant red mini-dress. The appearance quickly drew attention, highlighting the ongoing public discussion surrounding the comedian’s recent body transformation and her candidness about it.

The 44-year-old was seen on Tuesday, October 28, in the striking red ensemble. The dress featured short sleeves, a round neckline with a chest tie, and an A-line skirt with delicate button detailing. She chose minimal accessories, completing the look with black pointed-toe heels and no jewelry, allowing the dress to stand out. Her makeup was soft with luminous skin, defined brows, mascara, and pink lips, complementing her blow-dried blonde hair.

Schumer’s legs, prominently displayed in the mini-dress, have been a focus of conversation recently. This attention follows a previous social media post where she shared a photo of herself in a black Miu Miu mini-dress during a trip to Las Vegas, which also showcased her toned calves.

The Las Vegas image garnered significant praise from both fans and celebrity friends. Margaret Josephs of Real Housewives of New Jersey exclaimed, "Okay, legs for days!" Selma Blair simply noted, "Legs!" while director Lee Daniels cheered, "Skinny mom!" Schumer herself acknowledged the positive feedback, commenting, "I love the love. My legs thank you!" She also previously shared a photo from Saks, quipping, "Don’t call it a comeback."

Behind these public displays and positive reactions, Schumer has been transparent about her health journey, including her use of weight-loss medications and hormone therapy. Her openness provides context to her physical changes, aligning with her long-standing reputation for candid discussions about her personal life.

In March, Schumer revealed her experience with Monjaro, a weight-loss drug. She explained that she had tried Wegovy years prior but "vomited" and "couldn’t tolerate it," unsure if the formula had changed. After a consultation, she also began hormone therapy, taking estrogen and progesterone for perimenopause symptoms. She reported improved hair thickness, skin, and energy levels, along with a boosted libido, crediting both the hormones and Monjaro for these benefits.

Her journey with such medications includes a difficult experience with Ozempic, which she discussed on Howard Stern’s SiriusXM show in January. Schumer revealed she carries a GDF15 gene, making her extremely prone to nausea, a condition that severely affected her during pregnancy. She attempted Ozempic nearly three years ago but quickly ended up bedridden, experiencing severe vomiting and a complete lack of energy.

While Ozempic led to a rapid 30-pound (approximately 13.6 kg) weight loss for her, the side effects were debilitating. "I couldn’t lift my head off the pillow," she stated, noting that while others may thrive on the medication, her personal experience was challenging. Her willingness to share these details offers a nuanced look at the complexities of weight management and celebrity transparency.
