Amitabh’s grandson Agastya, who is making his Bollywood debut with this film, will share the screen with Dharmendra.

The famous director of the Bollywood industry Sriram Raghavan has announced his upcoming film titled ‘Ikkis’. Dharmendra will be seen in the lead role of this film and interestingly, Agastya Nanda, grandson of megastar Amitabh Bachchan, will make his Bollywood debut with this film. This film has been announced on the occasion of Dharmendra’s 86th birthday.

‘Ikkis’ will be a war drama film, whose story is based on the life of Second Lieutenant Arun Khetrapal PVC. He was awarded the Param Vir Chakra at the youngest age. Arun Khetrapal was martyred in the 1971 India-Pakistan war. At that time his age was only 21 years old.

Agastya Nanda’s partner will be seen with Dharmendra in this film. This movie will be released next year. Prior to this, Dharmendra and Sriram Raghavan worked together in the year 2008 in ‘Tera Kya Hona Johny’ in which Neil Nitin Mukesh played the lead role. Sriram Raghavan’s previous film Andhadhun was released four years ago in 2018 and starred Ayushmann Khurrana, Tabu and Radhika Apte. This movie earned a lot at the box office.

Let’s say that Dharmendra, who has crossed the age of 85, is still active in the film industry. Apart from ‘Ikkis’, she will be seen in ‘Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani’. It is being directed by Karan Johar. The couple of Alia Bhatt and Ranveer Singh will be seen in this. Previously, both stars worked together in Zoya Akhtar’s film Gully Boy.
