Amitabh Bachchan Queried on Marathi Language in Mumbai; Rectifies Social Media Spelling Mistakes.

Our favorite superstar, Amitabh Bachchan, keeps us all hooked with his regular updates on social media. He’s always sharing snippets from his life, both personal and professional. Recently, Big B dropped a post that got everyone talking, confessing something surprising about himself.

He posted late on a Sunday night, bringing up the Marathi language. In his message, he openly shared that he doesn’t actually know Marathi. This came out during a time when the Marathi language debate was quite a big deal. Interestingly, Big B made sure to keep his post light and didn’t offer any opinions on that ongoing discussion.

A Direct Question for Big B

Amitabh Bachchan shared his thoughts on Facebook. He wrote about a moment when someone directly asked him, “You’ve lived in Mumbai for so many years, don’t you know Marathi?” He admitted this was indeed true. He then added a wise thought: “But try to learn it, learning is also a form of respect.” It seems even legends are always learning new things.

Another Social Media Moment for the Star

The “Shahenshah” also put out a quick post on X, which many of us still call Twitter. His message there was simple yet profound: “The one who teaches is also learning.” Many users quickly agreed with his point, finding wisdom in his words. However, some sharp-eyed fans noticed a tiny typo. He accidentally wrote ‘वि’ instead of ‘वह’ in his Hindi tweet. His followers playfully pointed out this small slip-up.

A Familiar Spelling Mix-Up

It turns out this isn’t Big B’s first time having a little wordplay adventure on social media. Just recently, during Ganesh Visarjan, he made another spelling mistake in a post. People kindly corrected him, and he fixed it right away. He had shared a picture of Bappa, writing, “Ganpati Bappa Morya. Lal Bag ‘ch’ Raja.” Later, he put out another post to correct his error. He explained that a well-wisher told him he’d used the wrong word. He wrote, “I had written ‘Lalbaug ‘ch’ Raja’. They said it should be ‘cha’, so I am correcting it. Lalbaug ‘cha’ Raja.” It just goes to show that even the biggest stars have their human moments, typos and all!
