Director Apoorva Lakhia has clarified that veteran actor Amitabh Bachchan is not part of Salman Khan’s upcoming film, Battle of Galwan. This statement dispels recent rumors regarding Bachchan’s involvement in the highly anticipated project.
Speculation had arisen that Bachchan was not only cast in the film but had also begun shooting his scenes. Battle of Galwan has been generating significant industry buzz since its initial announcement.
Lakhia addressed these reports directly in an interview with Hindustan Times. He confirmed that the rumors were unfounded.
The director explained that he encountered Bachchan incidentally. He stated, "No. He was shooting for an advertisement in the studio opposite, so I went to meet him and said hello."
The rumors initially gained traction after Lakhia posted a picture with Bachchan on social media. His caption, which read "Guess what he’s telling me?" along with the hashtag "Legend on the set," sparked widespread speculation about a collaboration.
