America’s response to the IMF agreement for Pakistan. Washington welcomed the agreement.
The US Secretary of State has said in his Twitter statement that Pakistanis are standing by the side of the people in difficult times.
He said that he welcomes the program for Pakistan on behalf of the IMF, Pakistan should continue to work for macroeconomic reforms and sustainable economic recovery.

The Executive Board of the IMF has approved the standby agreement with Pakistan, after which an installment of one billion dollars will be released to Pakistan immediately.
MDIMF Kristalina Georgieva, while giving a statement regarding Pakistan, has said that the Standby Arrangement is an opportunity for macroeconomic stability for Pakistan, Pakistan must follow the program with full dedication.
Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif says that the IMF program is not a halwa or pudding, they begged a lot for the loan and accepted the conditions. Yesterday, one billion dollars came from the UAE and the day after that, 2 billion dollars came from Saudi Arabia. 5 billion dollars were received from China. They will live like this.
